Here are some of the decorative pillows Liz and I have made over the last few months.
These are all remade from garments that were ill-fitting, dated, maybe frayed along the edges but lively just the same. We often used existing pillow forms in excellent condition. I also use fine down from old feather pillows, also if in excellent condition, to make new pillow forms.
Free People.
Bits of this and that portrait.
Wool penny scarf, too scratchy.
Its back.
Marimekko skirt pillow. Waist too tiny.
But room for two pillow fronts.
From a pair of beaded fatigue pants.
Roberta Roller Rabbit tunic top.
Dog teacher sweater.
The 3D watchers cotton smock.

So inspiring! I love making pillow covers. It’s one of the few things I can sew.
